GGRACS – Individual Artists & Creative Workers Workshop

The Greater Grand Rapids Arts & Culture Strategy is a community-driven effort—and we want to hear from you!

Shape the Future of Arts & Culture in Greater Grand Rapids: Join Our Individual Artists & Creative Workers Workshop!

We’re pleased to offer an additional Individual Artists & Creative Workers Sector Workshop as part of the Greater Grand Rapids Arts & Culture Strategy. This virtual workshop will be held via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, July 28, from 12:00–1:00 PM EDT.

This session is an opportunity for individual artists, makers, performers, designers, creatives, and creative entrepreneurs to share their experiences, identify opportunities and challenges, and help inform the future of arts and culture across Greater Grand Rapids and Kent County.

The Greater Grand Rapids Arts & Culture Strategy is a community-driven initiative that will provide an actionable roadmap to strengthen and support the region’s arts and culture ecosystem. The planning process seeks to:

  • Build on the region’s arts and cultural assets and creative talent.
  • Support artists, cultural organizations, and creative businesses.
  • Expand access to arts and culture for diverse communities.
  • Strengthen arts and culture as a driver of economic vitality and quality of life.

Whether you were unable to attend our earlier session or are just learning about the project, we welcome your participation and encourage you to join the conversation.
